The budget eye model shown at left provides a detailed model to study gross structures of the primate eye. This is a great model that includes painted external muscles, clear plastic cornea, which covers the anterior chamber and iris, and clear plastic lens that fits in a grooved region near ciliary muscles.  The cut-away portion of the eye reveals the posterior chamber with retina, blood vessles, and the optic nerve.  A key card mounts in a removable slot at the rear of the model and the card can be removed for study.  All parts hand-painted. Overal dimensions including base and keycard is approximately 6.5" X 5" X 5".

This Oversized model details the outer, middle, and inner ear plus structures related to balance.  Dissects into 4 parts with cochlea, semi-circular canals and acoustic-vestibular nerve as a separate component.  Representation of outer, middle and inner ear.  Removable eardrum with hammer, anvil and stirrup as well as 2-part labyrinth with cochlea and auditory/balance nerve. On base.  3 times enlarged.   All parts are hand-painted.  Size 13.5" x 6.5" x 7.5".  Skin tone is "ethnically neutral".  This model comes with a desktop stand (shown; left).

Budget Ear Model

The budget ear model is a very detailed model showing the outer, middle, and inner ear.  This model comes with a desktop stand (shown; left) and a removable keycard with labled/illustrated structures.  Excellent illustrations of the cochlea, semi-circular canals, and acoustic-vestibular nerve.  The ossicles and tympanic membrane remove as a unit, as does the cochlea (see image at left). The budget Sinus and Chemosensory model allows students to visualize the location of turbinates and olfactory receptors, in addition to the upper airway.  The model also contains a cross-section of the tongue allowing students to visualize the location of anterior and posterior portions of the tongue and gustatory receptors (N.VII; N.IX).  All parts hand-painted.  Overal dimensions including base and keycard is approximately 6.5" X 5" X 5".
